The United States is one of the largest construction markets in the world, valued at more than $1,293 billion USD. After double digit growth from 2012 to 2015 and more modest growth in the following years, construction stats are projected to hold steady in 2019. A Wells Fargo survey of site preparation, excavation and heavy highway contractors found that 47% of workers believe their biggest cost concern is the ability to hire qualified workers.
