Earlier this month, our team had the opportunity to travel down to Atlanta, GA to join Le Cordon Bleu (LCB) in celebrating their most recent class of graduates – including two Penn Foster High School graduates from LCB’s Pathway Program! With over 1500 attendees, the graduation ceremony brought in family, friends and alumni who came to celebrate the recent graduates.
While attending the graduation, our own SVP of Partner Solutions, Peter Ockerbloom, was given the opportunity to take part in the ceremony, awarding the most recent Penn Foster High School graduates with their diploma. For these students, graduation from high school marked one of the first significant steps they would take on their culinary journey at LCB’s Atlanta campus.
“The smiles on their faces, the excitement they shared and the support of the school and the graduating class and their families was remarkable.” – Peter Ockerbloom
During the visit, our team also had the chance to meet LCB’s incoming class of 100 new students, tour campus and visit the classroom where Penn Foster students were continuing to work toward their diploma. While in the classroom, Peter had the pleasure of notifying Zaniyah Barrett, LCB Atlanta’s latest Penn Foster graduate, that she had successfully passed all diploma requirements! The excitement in her voice as she called family to share the news was heartwarming and highlighted the importance of this milestone. We look forward to celebrating many more graduates in the future!
